By the time I met Bijoux, my green card application had already taken more than eight months in the system without any indication as to when I was going to adjust my status from approved asylum to a permanent green card holder. Came to find out that there was a contradiction in my asylum application and that caused the delay in processing the green card application. Bijoux applied her legal skills to address those mistakes in my asylum application and with only one clarification letter drafted by Bijoux, I was able to get my green card and that accelerated my family petition filling.
