Meet the Attorney

Bijoux Ngwanda, Esq., is a nationally recognized immigration attorney and industry thought
leader. She has been featured in interviews seen on several outlets, including Zondra TV,
Amazon Fire TV, Connect to Your City, ROKU, and Apple TV.

Bijoux Ngwanda’s unique vision and personal experiences led to the birth of Bijoux Ngwanda
Law Office, PPLC, a full-service Immigration Law firm providing services in Family
Immigration, Humanitarian Visas, Large and Small Business Employment Visas, Sports Visas,
Investor Visas, and Deportation Defense. As an immigrant, Bijoux had firsthand experience with
the complexities and challenges of navigating the U.S. Immigration system. Born in the
Democratic Republic of Congo, a country torn by civil war and political instability for decades,
Bijoux and her family migrated to the U.S. in search of better opportunities.

Bijoux understands that determination and endurance are essential to making one’s passion a
reality. Her determination, resilience, and endurance set her apart from other lawyers, and her life
experience and unique insight into the US immigration system help others seeking legal
assistance do the same. Bijoux’s background naturally influenced her passion to advocate for
people whose voices needed to be heard. This passion led her to pursue her career in law. During
law school, Bijoux worked at the Jacksonville Legal Aid Society, where she helped Refugees, Parolees, and Asylees with their immigration needs. This deep experience and volume of work exposed her to the complex legal procedures of the US immigration system. After completing
law school, Bijoux worked in Corporate America, handling Contract disputes and collaborating
with other lawyers on various contract litigation matters. After over 4 years in the corporate world and feeling unfulfilled, Bijoux decided to return to what she loved and is passionate about: helping people. Bijoux moved to the DMV area to pursue her passion and start her own private practice in Immigration Law. Being fluent in numerous languages, including English, French, Lingala, and Kikongo, and having intermediate skills in German and Swahili, enables Bijoux to communicate effectively with many people. Bijoux has traveled the world and gained diverse cultural experiences while studying in Europe for a couple of years. Her love for traveling and her ability to speak multiple languages have helped her to connect with and understand clients on a much deeper cultural level.
